Majeeda is the owner and founder of Seven Dragons Acupuncture. Majeeda is a licensed and board certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist having earned her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from The National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. Some of her earliest experiences as an acupuncturist involved treatment for women’s reproductive health, fertility, and obstetrics. As a result, she pursued advanced training in the treatment of male and female reproductive health for natural conception as well as preparation for, and treatment during, Assisted Reproductive Therapies (ART). Majeeda also has extensive experience in treating conditions related to mood and behavior disorders including depression, anxiety and PTSD, pain conditions and traumatic injuries, sleep disorders, and digestive issues. Her approach to treatment is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and incorporates modalities of acupuncture, auriculotherapy, herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, and moxibustion. Beyond the realm of TCM, she is also trained in the fundamental techniques of Craniosacral Therapy, a great compliment to acupuncture that can exponentially enhance patients’ overall well-being and response to treatment. 

In addition to whole-system healing, Majeeda has also integrated skin care and aesthetics into her practice. She is a certified provider of microneedling, nanoneedling, and cosmetic acupuncture. Through these minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, she is able to harness the natural healing processes of the body to improve and promote the integrity and appearance of the skin.

In order to best serve her patients, Majeeda is constantly pursing new learning opportunities and skill development in order to expand her reach of healing. She firmly believes the human body is a self-healing and self-regulating unit and employs the tools of both ancient and modern medicine to provide comprehensive health-care with the goal of maintaining balance and nourishment of the mind, body, and spirit.
